B-Craft Akoya

BYD-Naval Architects collaborated with B-Craft Boats on the development of the Akoya, a cutting-edge 8.6-meter (28-foot) vessel that merges the performance of a ski/wake boat with the luxury of a yacht. BYD-Naval Architects provided essential production engineering for the molds, composite structural design and engineering, and stability assessments in accordance with ISO 12217 standards.

The Akoya features a 2.55-meter (8.4-foot) beam and is powered by a 430 HP Volvo Penta engine, delivering impressive speeds of up to 45 knots. Designed with sustainability in mind, each Akoya incorporates approximately 2,000 recycled bottles in its construction, demonstrating an innovative approach to eco-conscious yacht manufacturing.
