Lightweight Performance Ocean Cruiser
The Borealis 45, Design name B45 is a lightweight performance cruiser designed and built for ocean sailing. The sailing yacht is constructed from cedar strip and epoxy with Hull number 1 being launched in 2012. This was the flagship vessel that BYD started with.
Stepping aboard, you are welcomed to a spacious cockpit layout arranged for ease of handling so you can opt to change from a fully crewed vessel to shorthanded sailing.
The wide open transom allows for easy boarding and also tender storage with a length of up to 2.75 m. This can be converted to a lounging area when not used for tender storage.
The interior is light and open plan with a 3 cabin layout which can easily accommodate 6 people. 1 washroom and large galley to starboard layout intended for exploring the oceans close to home or far away.
With sleek lines and clear coat finish the B45 has a bold presence in the marina.
