Buckley Yacht Design’s founder Warwick Buckley has collected over 50 years’ experience in the marine industry. He had a successful career as a professional sailor, sailing in the 1981-82 Whitbread Round the World Race on Flyer, the winning yacht. He has travelled around the world racing, building and designing yachts of all kinds, from power and sail boats to tall ships. He earned a Bachelors of Engineering Degree at the internationally renowned Southampton Institute Yacht & Powercraft Design (BEng) program to become a Naval Architect.
