Senior Naval Architect – Ontario, Canada
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Naval Architect with 5-8 years experience to join
our dynamic engineering team. This position is a key role in leading and managing various aspects of
marine engineering projects from conceptual design to construction and delivery. You will utilize your
expertise in naval architecture to develop solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
and client requirements. This position will work closely with the commercial team to co-ordinate and
help organize project flows, and help with the delivery of design and engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering team providing technical guidance and mentorship to Junior
Naval Architects within the team. - Develop scopes definitions for projects.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively and be collaborative with the team and project
stakeholders. - Ability to review and perform detailed calculations, simulations, and engineering analyses to
assess and validate design concepts and specifications. - Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual design, and preliminary analysis to evaluate design
options to propose optimal solutions. - Utilize advance software tools and simulation techniques to model, analyze and optimize vessel
performance, stability and structural integrity. - Be able to liaise with clients, flag state regulators, classification societies and shipyards to ensure
compliance with industry standards, regulations and project specifications. - Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project presentations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture
- Masters of Engineering in Naval Architecture
- 5-8 years experience
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng)
Mandatory Software Skills:
- Autocad
- Rhino
- Autodesk PDM Collection including Recap, Inventor, Nastran
- Microsoft Suite
- Maxsurf and GHS

Junior Naval Architect United Kingdom
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Naval Architect with 1-3 years of experience to be part of our engineering team. This position requires a strong understanding of computer aided design and the ability to learn new techniques in design and build principles.
Responsibilities of the Junior Naval Architect
- Assist with Scope Definition
- Able to read and interpret class and flag state rules and regulations.
- Concept design for interior and exterior of a vessel.
- Inclining and Stability Booklets.
- Performance analysis for power and sail boats.
- Structural Design and Engineering to regulatory rules in Composite, Steel and Aluminium.
- Systems design and engineering.
- Interior layout design.
- Production design and construction drawings.
- Production support for CNC operations.
- CFD analysis (post training).
- 3D Laser scanning surveys (post training).
